Returns and Complaints
As a consumer, you have a standard right of withdrawal of 14 days, during which you can return the item without giving any reason. However, we have chosen to extend this period to 30 days from the day you, or someone on your behalf, received the item.
Please note: You can only return a product if it is:
-
unused and undamaged,
-
properly packaged (in original packaging or equivalent),
-
in good condition with all parts and accessories included.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, you must notify us before the deadline expires.
Right of Withdrawal
Unless the agreement is exempt from the right of withdrawal, the buyer may cancel the purchase of goods in accordance with the Norwegian Right of Withdrawal Act.
The buyer must notify the seller of the intention to exercise the right of withdrawal within 14 days. All calendar days are included in the deadline. If the deadline falls on a Saturday, public holiday, or other non-working day, it is extended to the next working day.
The deadline is considered met if the message is sent before the period expires. The buyer bears the burden of proof for having exercised the right of withdrawal and is advised to do so in writing (withdrawal form, email, or letter).
The withdrawal period begins:
-
From the day after receiving the item(s) in the case of single purchases.
-
From the day after the first delivery in the case of a subscription or regular delivery of identical items.
-
From the day after the final delivery when the order consists of several shipments.
If the seller has not informed the buyer about the right of withdrawal and provided a standardized withdrawal form before the agreement, the deadline is extended by 12 months. If the seller later provides this information, the deadline will then expire 14 days after the buyer receives it.
When exercising the right of withdrawal, the item must be returned without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the withdrawal notice is given. The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs unless otherwise agreed or the seller failed to inform the buyer about these costs. No fees may be charged for the use of the right of withdrawal.
The buyer may inspect or test the item to determine its nature, characteristics, and function. If such use goes beyond what is reasonable, the buyer may be held liable for any reduction in the item's value.
The seller must refund the purchase amount without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receiving the buyer’s withdrawal notice. The seller may withhold the refund until the item is received or the buyer provides proof of return shipment.
Dispute Resolution
Complaints must be directed to the seller within a reasonable time, see section 9 and 10. The parties shall attempt to resolve any disputes amicably. If this is not successful, the buyer may contact the Norwegian Consumer Authority for mediation at +47 23 400 600 or www.forbrukertilsynet.no.
The European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform may also be used, especially if you are an EU resident: http://ec.europa.eu/odr.

You're absolutely right. Since your business is located in Europe (but outside of Norway), here's the corrected version of the Returns and Complaints section, with references to the European Commission's dispute resolution only:

Right of Withdrawal
Unless otherwise exempt, the buyer may withdraw from the purchase under applicable consumer protection laws.
-
The withdrawal period is 14 calendar days (extended to 30 by us).
-
If the deadline falls on a weekend or public holiday, it is extended to the next working day.
-
The right of withdrawal is considered valid if notice is sent before the period expires.
The burden of proof lies with the buyer, so written notice (via withdrawal form, email, or letter) is strongly recommended.
The withdrawal period starts:
-
The day after you receive the goods (for single shipments)
-
The day after the first delivery (for subscriptions or repeated deliveries)
-
The day after the final delivery (for orders split into multiple shipments)
If the seller fails to inform the buyer about the right of withdrawal, the deadline extends to 12 months. Once the information is provided, the buyer has 14 days from that moment to withdraw.
Returned goods must be sent back within 14 days of giving notice. The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs unless otherwise agreed.
You may inspect the product to understand its nature and function. However, if the product is used beyond necessary testing, you may be held responsible for diminished value.
The seller must refund the payment without undue delay, no later than 14 days after receiving the withdrawal notice. The refund may be withheld until the goods have been returned or proof of return is provided.
